Why I Created Davis Coworking: A Message from Founder Do Tromp

In the journey of entrepreneurship, the road to success is often filled with obstacles, and establishing a professional workspace shouldn't be one of them. That's why I, Do Tromp, founded Davis Coworking.

Understanding the challenges entrepreneurs face, from financial constraints to logistical complexities, I wanted to create a solution that would alleviate these barriers. Davis Coworking is my answer to these issues – a flexible, affordable alternative to traditional office spaces.

Davis Coworking isn't merely an office; it's a vibrant, professional environment intentionally designed for growth and productivity. Startups, especially in their early stages, can find their resources stretched thin, and business needs can fluctuate rapidly.

Being an affiliate of the UC Davis Venture Catalyst Distributed Research Incubation & Venture Engine (DRIVE™) network, my goal with Davis Coworking is to retain the talented individuals emerging from UC Davis. By providing the necessary infrastructure and support, I aim to inspire these entrepreneurs to plant their businesses right here in Davis, eliminating the need for them to relocate to other cities.

Moreover, inclusivity and empowerment are at the heart of our mission. To foster an empowering entrepreneurial community in Davis, I have made it my personal commitment to organize bi-monthly events designed to support local women entrepreneurs.
